My journey in the beauty industry began as a shampoo girl at New Concept Hair Studio, originally owned by my mother, Angie. After graduating from Vo-Tech with my cosmetology license, I quickly realized this wasn’t just a job—it was my purpose.
Today, I’m proud to be the owner of New Concept Hair Studio, a second-generation salon rooted in family legacy and built with a fresh, modern vision. At the heart of our studio is a commitment to healthy hair, exceptional service, and a welcoming environment for every guest.
I believe education is a lifelong journey. That belief drives me to keep learning, evolving, and incorporating new techniques to elevate each client’s experience. Whether it’s color, extensions, or working with different hair textures, my goal is always to help you leave the salon feeling confident and cared for.
When I’m not behind the chair, you can find me thrift shopping for unique finds, walking my dog, and—most importantly—spending time with my son, Javier, and my husband, who mean the world to me.yaz_marcel
